A great pet store with friendly knowledge staff. Big selection of reptiles, small animals, fresh & saltwater fish, pet habitats....treats..all kinds of creature care supplies! I have started my first saltwater tank and they have been extremely helpful!

Such a unique place! Anything & everything you could wish for as any type of pet owner. Staff was super helpful and very knowledgeable.

Top notch locally owned exotic pet and fish store. Always a positive atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. I always learn something when I walk in and their prices generally beat big chains nearby

One of my fav pet stores. The owner is willing to answer any questions you have and help pick out products your animals need. I have adopted two rescued breaded dragons from him and when I am ready for more will totally adopt from him again.

Love pet advantage. Their staff is knowledgeable, they will teach you about what product is best for you (plants, fish, etc.). I have been giving them my business since 1998 (yes new owners and location but still great). I went on my birthday the other day and they set me right up with the below plants and drift wood. My betta loves them. Not to mention they do not have the scandals and corporate structure of the big brands. Support local!

Great store with a large selection of fish and reptile livestock. In northwestern Vermont the aquarium options are slim. Your choice is either petco or petsmart. Thankfully, there is the Pet Advantage as well and while a lot of the food and supplies here are a bit marked up, the fish themselves are a great deal and certainly beat the quality of the nearby chains mentioned. I'll also add that I was going to order some fish online - some rummynose tetras for an aquarium but I was thrilled to see there is a local fish store that sells a variety of freshwater and saltwater fish and now I don't need to worry about shipping costs or fish surviving the shipping. All in all it's a well run store - and I am an aquarium hobbyist that's been keeping fish for almost 20 years.

We bought a bunny years ago and come back regularly for supplies and nail clippings. But we recently came back for a python snake for my daughter. This has been, hands down, the best experience ever. Don't go anywhere else. Really. I'm not kidding.

We had a wonderful experience at Pet Advantage today. The person who helped us was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly wasn't trying to "upsell" (even said we didn't need to buy something we thought we did). We are new snake owners and will certainly be visiting the store again for future supplies.

I had a great experience shopping at Pet Advantage yesterday! brought home two male Skinny Pigs, and they were free with the purchase of the "Guinea Pig Full Set Up Kit" (or whatever it was called) and 1. that kit was a GREAT deal, it had everything these handsome boys could need; food, hay, toys, treats, bedding, essential cage accessories like a bowl, water bottle and manger. It was a bargain. And also these two sweet Skinnies are not only adorable, they are healthy and well socialized. For anyone wondering; their names are Sugar and Spice and they are settling into their new home very well. Oh! Also, the staff treated me with respect and patience throughout the entire process, even when it was a real pain in the A to fit the new cage set up in the car (which they helped with so graciously and politely) I cannot recommend shopping at Pet Advantage enough.

My new all time favorite pet store. I’m from out of town and needed a place to get feeder insects and I was nervous they wouldn’t have any, but hey they have the most diverse array of feeder bugs I’ve found in a local pet store and the staff are SO helpful, they really know what they’re talking about. Every single time I come in I leave with exactly what I need and something even better than I could’ve expected. The owner is a doll he has been so helpful, I say what I’m looking for and he’s like “give me five minutes” runs to the back and finds EXACTLY what I need and gives me an unbeatable price. Also one of the only pet stores I’ve been to that sells discounted used enclosures!!! I got a plastic terrarium for my mantis that just needed a little TLC for a quarter of the brand new price. For someone who buys everything used that is so huge. The animals are so healthy and active and they have one of the most impressive selections of fish I’ve ever seen. I recommend this spot to anybody who will listen HAHA ultimate one stop shop for anyone with exotics. LOVE the selection of arthropods!!!
